Having been formally trained in France at the Ferdinand Fillod school of metal arts and worked in several forges to gain experience, I returned home to Ireland and opened my own forge based in Galway,using traditional methods ,heating and shaping metal while hot enables me to be more creative with my designs and opens up the endless possibilities to achieve the clients vision or my own.

I have worked on several commissions for public spaces,bars,restaurants,public gardens,schools sculptures and private clients.

I would eventually like to offer weekend courses here at my forge and introduce people to the art of blacksmithing through making a forged piece themselves which they take home, so keep an eye on the website for any information.

I Was awarded the sculpture in context large work of distinction in any medium 2019 in the botanic gardens Dublin,boyle arts festival winner, rds crafts competition finalist and had pieces in several exhibitions throughout the country.
